Skye's Terrific Tuesday!

Last night Skye went to Puppy Class. She had great fun socialising with all the other dogs! After class Skye and Chief went to the nearby shop, (Chief is also in training to become an Assistance dog, but with a different charity) Skye has never before been in a shop with another assistance dog, but she was still really good and didn't get distracted by Chief being there too. At the shop they had bread in open display baskets right at Skye's nose height, but Skye didn't even sniff it, before she used to get distracted and tried to eat them (she never managed to though luckily!)

 Today we painted our learning room and Skye didn't mind the ladder or paint everywhere! She managed to get covered in paint too, as somebody petted her with hands covered in paint! She looked really sad. Luckily it wasn't gloss or anything so it came off easily with a few  pet wipes.


I took lots of photos of Skye wearing her jacket this morning. She doesn't love the jacket (maybe because she knows she has to behave with it on!) and when you first put it on she isn't very happy, however she does cheer up especially when the treats come out! I am making sure all her experiences wearing the jacket are positive to help her accept it a bit better.

This evening me and my brothers and sisters were out cycling, Skye joined us and was running along beside our bikes. We did races and Skye was one of the competitors (she won 2nd place!) Skye loves to ride about in the bikes trailer in the garden too!!
