It's training time for Skye and Rosie!

We took Skye to puppy classes on Tuesday and she was very good - we practiced all her commands and she wore her jacket. Skye ignored the distractions around her and she recalled no problem. Once she had her jacket off she enjoyed her playtime with the other puppies!

Then this morning we took the dogs to Eleanor's and walked them in a field. Skye loved playing with Hannah, Mitzy, Rosie and of course Amber. She ran around, (got very muddy and wet!!) and had a fantastic time. Like at Puppy Class her recall was great and she was a very good girl. Skye loves running around with her doggy pals and exploring new places. In the photo you'll see Skye and Rosie doing some training: I was doing "sit" and "down" with them together and Skye was patient as Rosie is just learning "down" so finds it a bit harder. She really enjoyed her morning and was happy to chill out for the rest of the afternoon!

Tomorrow we are expecting visitors, our neighbours are coming with their young children. Skye is very good with babies and toddlers and she knows to be gentle and not run around or get too excited. She is also good with elderly people. She is used to buggies and I sometimes do training with her teaching her to walk nicely alongside a buggy (this also helps in supermarkets with the trolley too!), overall Skye is very good with people of all ages and really enjoys being with my younger brothers and sisters.

I'm looking forward to going to AADI's Sponsored Dog Walk in Doneraile Park this Saturday. We'll be going along with Skye and Amber. Hopefully the sun will shine!
