Skye has had a busy weekend! As well as going to town on Saturday we went to a shopping centre Sunday afternoon. We had some lunch in the café, and Skye was really good - she settled down under the table beside my chair and fell fast asleep. There was no fussing for any food and I was very proud of her.

Behaving well at the café, lying under the table. |
Then we did some shopping, and in one of the shops there was lots of glass and china and fragile things, so I was careful not to let her go too close to the shelves!! I practiced 'walking beside a trolley' with her and at first it was tricky, but she soon got the hang of it.

Then we went to the pet shop/garden centre. They had some gerbils and hamsters there, no rabbits this time! Skye got a bit overexcited and was pulling so I took the opportunity to do some training with her. She was a bit too interested in the small animals but by the time we left she had improved.

Then it was back to another shop and she walked well on lead, it was a very loose lead which was good. She 'sat' when I asked her (for example if I stopped to look at something) and was, like always, confident when people came up to meet her.

I think Skye is progressing very well and hopefully she will continue to improve!
