Another day at the Vets!

We took Skye to the vet today as she had been having problems with her ear, and the vet wanted to sedate her and examine it thoroughly.

 Skye couldn't have any breakfast much to her disappointment. We still took her in the field for a morning stroll - but instead of using treats to reward her for recall I used a tennis ball. She loves her tennis ball and it worked fine. Like last time she went to the Vets we all missed her, it was so different not having her around!

She came home at lunchtime and has some antibiotics that I have to give her twice a day. Luckily Skye seems to like the tablets, and eats them no problem. Amber can be fussy sometimes when we give her worming tablets, and you have to disguise them in peanut butter sandwiches - however, she still seems to find a way to eat the sandwich but leave the tablet! As Skye is a real foodie she eats any food.
　
Skye and Amber have spent the evening wandering around the garden together to make up for the morning without each others company! They are happy again now!
