Skye enjoyed Puppy class on Tuesday night, here are a few photos!
There were lots of dogs for her to play and socialise with, which was great as it is very important she learns to interact with other dogs and read their signals. As she has been every week, she is growing in confidence with other dogs, not nervous at all. She is learning to respect the older dogs. The younger puppies all play rough and tumble together- so she is learning to have a soft mouth / bite inhibition from them.
We also did Agility, and whilst I do it at home to, the advantage of doing it at puppy classes is that she is having to concentrate with huge distractions, which will be useful for her when she is working. For agility the dogs are on lead, except the puppy who is doing the agility course. Skye was very good when it was her turn and didn't try to wander over and play with the other puppies, she stayed concentrating on the course so I was very pleased with her. They then finished the evening with a free play session which they all love!
