This morning I was out in the garden with Skye, and for the first time we decided to let one of the chickens, Maisy, out of her run, to see how Skye behaved. It is very important that Skye learns not to mind other animals, like cats, birds etc as this would distract her from working, and she might pull the child over if she were to chase them.
As you will see in the photos below, Skye was very good. At first she was a bit distracted, but overall she kept her attention on me, glancing over at Maisy every now and then.
We did 'Stay' as well (the lead was left trailing) and I have to say she was just so so so good! I am really proud of her.

Tomorrow we are off to Clonmel Park Hotel for a Volunteer Recruitment Day. It should be fun! Hopefully Skye will behave well, we are taking Amber too. I am very excited!
