A visit to a local Pre-school

Earlier this week we took Skye on a visit to a local pre-school. We met up with Charlie, a fully trained and working dog. My brothers, sisters and I have seen Charlie a few times now. He is everything we are hoping Skye will be. He is just so well behaved and calm. At this stage it's hard to imagine Skye being like that one day as she is still really puppy-ish and excitable!

Skye met children of different ages, we went into four classrooms. I put a finger in her collar so she couldn't jump up at the children, she did lick them though which made them squeal with delight. It is something we must stop her doing though - but how I don't know! I will ask for advice at puppy class tonight.

She didn't mind it when the children crowded round her and was very confident. We were very pleased with her behaviour especially given it was her first school visit.
