A Busy Weekend for Skye

Skye's Weekend!

Saturday

We took  Skye to the beach today. When we pulled up in the car she realised where we were and was so  excited! She galloped around like crazy having the time of her life. She had a great time running around chasing Amber on the sand, and splashing in the sea with her. She met lots of new doggy friends, and really enjoyed herself. She got very sandy and wet, and when we got back home she snuggled down with Amber for a snooze.

Sunday

Then on Sunday after Church we walked Skye around the village and a crowd of people came over to say hello to her, and she behaved very well and was calm, she didn't jump up at all. Her lead walking was great, I was very pleased.

Monday

On Monday we went to Dublin for the day and Skye came around the shops with us. We went to IKEA too, and there was a big grass area where she had an off-lead play after going around the shop, much to her delight. It was a very long day and Skye got tired near the end, so she had a ride in the buggy. This meant she could still have the experience of being in public and socialising without having to walk further than she is able for at her age. She didn't mind the long journey and she slept most of the way. It was a manic day! Amber stayed with our friend for the day and Skye was happy  to see her again when we collected her in the evening.
