Skye's Afternoon Out

On Sunday we took Amber and Skye out to a Fun Dog Show (which was in aid of a local dog rescue). The weather in the morning had been wet and windy, but by the time we had arrived it was sunny. There were loads of dogs and people there. Skye was very excited to see so many different dogs! As she wasn't 'in jacket'/'working' we let her say hello and meet some of the dogs. Caitlin took Skye into Best Puppy. Skye was really good for Caitlin (except when she found a treat dropped on the ground when they were running around the ring!) and they got 3rd place rosette! Skye also did the Gundog category with Caitlin again and she got another rosette, this time 2nd. There were crowds and dogs everywhere but Skye coped fine and was very relaxed and happy. She is very good on lead now and she enjoyed it when people petted her. Skye settled down beside the ring watching the other dogs and several of us guys walked Skye around and she behaves well for us all which is good. It was a fun afternoon for everyone!
