Last night Skye went to Puppy Class. At the start all the dogs were on lead and we stood in a circle. Each dog and owner took a turn to weave around the circle without the dog pulling to get to all the other dogs. Skye was very good, at one stage she tried to sniff the ground where the treats had been dropped but I just encouraged her to keep walking past. It was a good way for the dogs to meet the new dogs, Cassie and Millie, in a controlled way. Then we practiced recall, with the dogs standing opposite in lines and then one dog would be called. Skye was good on her turn, though on walks we need to have some more practice! Afterwards they all played together off lead. Just before we left for home we went to the shop over the road, to get some milk, and Skye practiced "working" in the dark just with street lamps and shadows too. She didn't mind and was very good. Back at the car, I took her lead & jacket off and she hopped into the car with Amber, ready to go to bed!
