Skye Steals All The Treats At Puppy Class

Last night Skye went to her Puppy Classes. We did Agility, which was so much fun for both the dogs and their owners. We had jumps, a tunnel and a wooden pallet which the dogs had to stand on. The jumps were really low. We had a competition! The puppies had to jump over the jump, then run over to the pallet and put all four paws on it, before going through the tunnel and over the jump again. At the end they had to sit, and we were being timed by the stopwatch. Skye completed it in exactly 16 seconds and won the competition! She is very agile and such an active dog that she is very quick! Amber did very well too,  she did it in 16.4 seconds! So  they were very close!

Then we did  another competition - Which dog had the best recall! So everybody lined up with their dogs on lead. Amber and Hannah went first. So me and Eoin ran about 25m away and called them excitedly, they were let off the lead. Amber ran straight over to me as fast as she could go (which was very fast!) it took her 5 seconds exactly to come to me! She was such a good girl. Then when it was the other dogs turns to be called, she ran over to their owners (their own dogs were nowhere to be seen, they had run off playing!)

Now Skye was a different story! Her and Charlie were let off, and we called them. They didn't come! They ran off in the other direction, over to the treats (you could have predicted this...) and jumped up, knocking over the bucket with all the treats on.... and started gobbling them all up as quick as they could. Naughty puppies!! Well we clearly need to do some more work on the recall!
